Plastering & painting / Auckland

We take a wall from bare board to brilliant.

Rush & Brush is a small Auckland crew that fixes the GIB, skims it flat, stops the joins, and brushes on the finish. One team handles the whole wall, so the result actually lines up.

How a job runs

Four steps, one crew, no hand-off gaps.

The reason walls go wrong is usually the gap between trades. We close it by carrying the wall the whole way ourselves.

  1. 00

    Fix

GIB board fixed square and solid, the foundation the whole finish stands on.

  2. 00

    Stop & skim

Joins stopped, walls skimmed and floated until the surface is genuinely flat.

  3. 00

    Brush

Prepped, cut in clean and painted even, inside or out, in your colour.

  4. 00

    Clean

Dust and mess cleared, and the space walked with you and handed back ready.

The actual crew, on an Auckland job

Our team

A real crew of eight, owner on the tools.

Rush & Brush is run by director Mohammad Ibrahim and has grown into a small, dedicated team of eight. The photo is the actual crew on an Auckland job, hi-vis on and paint on the boots. You get the same people from the quote to the clean-down, which is the whole point of keeping it small.

  • Owner-led by director Mohammad Ibrahim
  • A settled crew of eight, not rotating subbies
  • Residential and commercial, across greater Auckland
Our work is always completed with the best quality, and it will meet your standards. That is the promise, and the same crew is there to keep it.
Mohammad Ibrahim / Director, Rush & Brush
Why us

Quality that has to line up, because we sign off the whole wall.

When one crew fixes, skims, stops, paints and cleans, there is no one else to blame and nothing falls through the gap between trades. That is why we can stand behind the finish.

“We are proud to say that our quality cannot be beat and results will never disappoint.”
Rush & Brush, in their own words
  • Trust, integrity, reliability

The values we say we run on, in their own words from day one.

  • The best materials

We use good materials because the finish is only as good as what goes into it.

  • From consultation to final touches

One point of contact the whole way through, start to sign-off.

Before you ask

The questions we get most.

Do you cover both plastering and painting, or just one?

Both, plus GIB fixing and stopping and a clean-down at the end. The point of Rush & Brush is that one crew carries the wall from bare board through to the finished, painted, cleaned surface.

Where in Auckland do you work?

We are based in Massey in West Auckland and work across the wider region, including the North Shore and Rodney, central and east Auckland, and out to Manukau, Papakura and Franklin.

Do you take on commercial work or only homes?

Both residential and commercial, from a single room or a touch-up through to new builds and apartment blocks.

How much will my job cost?

Every wall is different, so we price each job after looking at it rather than quoting a number blind. Send through the details and we will give you a free, honest quote.

How do I get a quote?

Use the quote form on the contact page, or call the crew directly on 0210 2414 187. Tell us what the space is and roughly what you are after, and we will come back to you.
